Kong-Ke Museum Visual Identity

Kong-Ke Museum

Kong-Ke Museum is a visual identity for an exhibition venue in Taichung, Taiwan, that also serves as a rest station for construction workers. The logo forms characters with short strokes, leaving them unfinished. The unfinished form refers to the transitional feeling of a construction site. The guidance system uses materials found on site, such as formwork, scrap wood, circular saw blades and plastic water pipes. Paint buckets filled with cement, water pipes, polycarbonate wave boards and gloves mark positions within the space. Posters are screen printed on cement bag packaging.

Kong-Ke Museum Visual Identity by googoods has been recognized as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Kong-Ke Museum Visual Identity was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that celebrates superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
