A Inc is a corporate identity program created for a company based in Tokyo. The identity is built around a single letter A formed from colored stripes. The stripes represent the energy and potential of every person involved with the company. The overlapping stripes show how the company takes shape through a diversity of preferences. The identity is applied to business cards and envelopes, and each person can select a favorite color. Envelope colors can be matched to recipients. The logo is embossed to keep the strong colors subtle.
A Inc Corporate Identity by Yu Morisawa was identified as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. A Inc Corporate Identity was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
