Hand over Hand
Hand over Hand is a brand identity created for a provider of special education services. The identity keeps the hand drawn hand and book elements of the earlier logo to preserve continuity and personality. Analogue, a modern typeface with gentle curves and high contrast letterforms, supports a friendly and approachable tone. Circular and square geometric cuts create a balanced composition that reflects regional and demographic diversity. The system is applied to social media, web pages, eBooks, outdoor advertising, magazines, packaging and business cards.
Hand over Hand Brand Identity by Yiwen Zhang has been selected as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Hand over Hand Brand Identity was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that celebrates excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
